ABOUT ME

DESIGN/ADVERTISING:

I've been a creative in design and advertising for 15+ years. I have a blend of print and digital capabilities and a unique background in both illustration and graphic design, which I've been able to harness in both conceptualization and execution. (I believe in drawing out ideas. I think through my thumbnails!) I love collaborating in cross-functional capacities—with people from different skillsets and backgrounds than my own—and strive to learn something new from the people I work with. I think an open mind goes a long way. I’ve been fortunate to have had the opportunity to do some really fun work within the pharmaceutical arena, as well as outside it. I’m a natural problem solver and it’s what gets me excited: finding interesting and ownable solutions for clients.

ILLUSTRATION:

In addition to my career in advertising, I also work as an illustrator and graphic designer, beginning my career at the well-known firm of Chermayeff & Geismar. I went on to work on independent assignments at MarkBatty Publisher, Susan Slover Design, RDA, and Steve Madden, among others. My illustration experience includes creating book covers and hand-lettering for several YA titles for Harper Collins, Dutton Books, Tor Books, and Bloomsbury Press. In addition, I have done an extensive series of illustrations for Amplify, an early literacy company, for their e-games and apps. https://charlottenoruzi-illustration.com/

My personal endeavors include being the co-author and creative director of Urban Iran, a milestone book on Iranian
