Pfizer Breathing Card
Insight: Pneumonia can be deadly for babies, but can be detected with life-saving swiftness by simply knowing what to listen for. By sharing with parents and caregivers what the sound is of a baby with healthy breathing compared with the quickened breathing of a baby with pneumonia, parents can take action right away if they encounter the signs in their baby.
Solution: A greeting card equipped with a sound chip when opened plays the sound of a healthy baby’s breathing followed by the dramatically sped-up breathing of a baby with pneumonia. It will be sent to parents following the birth of their baby. A congratulatory message on their child’s birth doubles as a critical warning of the signs to listen for in catching pneumonia. In addition to knowing what pneumonia sounds like, another important way to mitigate pneumonia is offered—and that is to prevent it altogether by ensuring their baby is vaccinated .

To further demonstrate that urgency of the campaign, I created a short animation which brings to life the important directional and emotional aspects of the message.
